Magazine TV Times, in an article this week, revealed that Adam Astill is leaving HOLBY CITY. holby.tv can confirm that he is due to leave our screens on 10th July.
Adam, who plays Orthopaedic Consultant Dan Hamilton has already finished filming on the medical drama and his last storyline involves his father and also Paul Nicholls character, gay nurse Simon who makes his debut next week.
Speaking to holby.tv earlier last month, Adam said, ‘It’s very sad to be leaving but I think myself and the producers had decided that the character had gone as far as it could go. I think it’s a natural end to his story arc and the right move to go before the character got tired. But I’m very pleased with his final storyline’.
