BBC Drama Awards 2004

The BBC Drama Website has voted holby.tv the 3rd Best Drama website of 2004.

The BBC Drama Website has voted holby.tv the 3rd Best Drama website of 2004.

In the Best of 2004 awards – voted for by fans – holby.tv recieved 7.8% of the vote, and were only beaten by BBC sites North & South and Spooks. It was one of the few non-BBC and unofficial sites to make the list.

In other award categories; CASUALTY was 4th and HOLBY CITY 5th for ‘Best Drama’ category.

For ‘Best Actor’, Maxwell Caulfield came 11th, Art Malik 13th, Simon MacCorkindale 16th, Matthew Wait 18th, Noah Huntley 19th, Jason Merrells & Chris Colquhoun joint 20th, Hugh Quarshie & Ian Kelsey joint 23rd, and James Redmond 25th.

For ‘Best Actress’, Christine Stephen-Daly came 6th, Amanda Mealing 7th, Verona Joseph 11th, Sarah Manners & Claire Goose joint 14th, Patricia Potter 19th and Martina Laird & Rebekah Gibbs joint 25th.

Jim sacrficing his life for Rosie in Casualty @ Holby came 3rd for Favourite Moment.

CASUALTY’s Ellen Zitek was voted 13th Best Villain. Fin’s murderer Karl was 17th.

Art Malik, Jason Merrells and Christine Stephen-Daly were voted joint 13th Most Desirable Drama star. While Noah Huntley, Amanda Mealing and Matthew Wait were joint 18th.
