Former CASUALTY actress Cheryl Campbell, who had a brief but memorable stint on the show earlier this year as Miriam Turner, is to tour the UK in the theatre production of ‘Steel Magnolias’.
A heartwarming and bittersweet comedy, Steel Magnolias also stars HOLBYBLUE actress Kacey Ainsworth, HOLBY CITY actress Denise Welch as well as Isla Blair, Cherie Lunghi and Sadie Pickering.
From the original play in 1987 to its film adaptation in 1989, Steel Magnolias, a true story by Robert Harling following the loss of his beloved sister, is a truly moving play that celebrates the strength and value of friendship, humour, and love in the midst of life’s greatest hardships.
With all the sweet gentility of Southern belles and with strength and wit made of steel, these special ladies will have you crying and laughing together.
