Actress Chizzy Akudolu has revealed that she is to make a two month guest return to HOLBY CITY later this year.
Chizzy left our screens in June 2017 after 5 years of playing surgeon Mo Effanga. She departed with her partner Derwood and son although it’s unclear as yet if Mr T will also make a reappearance.
Speaking on Loose Women, she said “It’s only for two months. I love the show and going back was so like coming home, like putting on your duvet – you just know you are home.
“But I know that I have to do other stuff. We are nomads, actors. I’m really honoured to go back in.”
After leaving HOLBY CITY last year, Chizzy has appeared on Strictly Come Dancing, a panelist on Loose Women and is currently appearing in the latest series of Celebrity Masterchef.
