And, AND!! Ian Kelsey said that when he left casualty he wanted "Patrick to die in Holly's arms." This interview was recorded by the BBC at Christmas 2001 (after Lara arrived and they film about three months ahead so the two of them must have been together by this time) "But seeing as Holly's not there, I'll just have to try not to die" he laughed.

I'm a Hollyite because I watched Holly and Patrick and loved any minute of it and Lara and Patrick never convinced me, I could see it for the tranparent ratings ploy it was. I never had to even think which I was, me and my sister were dedicated Holly fans long before I ever came on here, and to come on here and find loads more, the Hollyites, was great.
Plus I belive in true love as well!

Yeah but that was after an emotional event.
Besides Holly left before he could ask her!

I'm a Laraite because i saw all the episodes with Holly and Patrick and then all the episodes with Lara and Patrick and just decided that Lara and Patrick were better as a couple, also because Lara is a great character and Christine Stephen-Daly is the best actress!

Patrick wasn't flirting with Holly, it was very far from it. Flirting is usually joking sort of casual chatting with a sense of being sure and in control of the situation. And Patrick's personal communication with Holly was very far from it, simply because he wasn't sure how to behave around her, apart from trying not to annoy her. That's hardly flirting.
What he did with Lara, like the towel fight... not that was flirting.

And whilst flirting is fun, let's face it, about 90% of the time it means nothing anyway. Not to say that Lara and Patrick meant nothing to each other, I know they loved each other, but flirting does not constitute a relationship, nor does it make one relationship where the couple are flirty anymore significant than a relationship without flirtation. I am, by nature, a flirt, I'll flirt with anybody and everybody to get what I want, literally
