HEIGHT : 5ft 5

HUSBAND : Actor, Adam Smethhurst.

CHILDREN : Two daughters, Tansy (b.2004) and Shani (b.2009)

FAMILY : Her mother, from Sierra Leone, was the second wife of a wealthy Nigerian. Just three weeks after giving birth to Rakie she left her in the care of her cousin in Cardiff and his wife. They brought her up as their own and, although Rakie has met with her real mother a few times over the years, she considers them her parents. It’s her adoptive mum, who died when she was 14, was whom she credits with helping her into acting.

CASUALTY APPEARANCE : Rakie played Karen Goddard in S13 E19 'Trapped'.

PREVIOUS HOLBY CITY APPEARANCE : Rakie has previously appeared in HOLBY CITY. In S5 E32 'By Any Other Name', she played Marianne Lawson.
