Fans bid a sad farewell to actress Chelsea Halfpenny, who left our CASUALTY screens as Alicia Munroe last weekend.
Chelsea joined the show in September 2015 and has been involved in a number of explosive storylines, most recently being of Alicia’s rape at the end of last series.
Talking to Digital Spy she said, ‘I had such a great time at CASUALTY and the job was amazing, but I’ve been there for a few years and I just felt like it was time for me to move on and progress. I wanted to leave on a high.’
