When Daisha says goodbye, the last thing Mark wants to do is deal with a difficult shift. Mark soon realises his apathy has let down his team and patients and he decides that he needs to become a man of the people again. When Vanessa sends Maria home because of her back injury, Mark decides to pursue a compensation claim against the Trust on Maria's behalf.
Faye and Elliot realise that Joseph caused Linden's injuries. Joseph sets the record straight by announcing that Faye has left him for Linden. Linden has finally got what he wants but starts to doubt Faye and puts the brakes on their relationship.
Meanwhile, on Darwin, Connie learns that first impressions are deceptive when Penny turns out to be a better F1 than Oliver.

'Faith No More' : Joseph realises something is going on between Faye and Linden, and he takes his anger out in a physical attack on Linden. Mark's loyalty is torn between Daisha and Judith, and he ends up losing them both. Chrissie is alarmed to find Sacha back at Holby; she finds him infuriating.

May goes to great lengths to avoid going on a date with Yuki; Alice tries to offer Adam some comfort; and the girls check into a spa for Dixie's hen night.
Yuki is ecstatic that May has agreed to go out with him and is keen to go public. But May persuades him that she wants to keep it their little secret and is at great pains to ensure that she isn't left alone with the eager young F2.
Shocked by his previous revelations, Jordan is also keen to avoid new F2 Kieron although, when confronted, he agrees to a meeting. But then Kieron concedes that he may have been mistaken in his allegations, leaving Jordan all the more perplexed. Can looking through some old photographs shed light on the issue?
Alice, meanwhile, is increasingly worried about the behaviour of her old friend, Adam, and opts out of Dixie's hen night to invite him round to dinner.
On Dixie's hen night the paramedic admits that marrying Jeff is not ideal but it's the right thing to do. But then she meets someone who might just make her see that it's not the best way forward after all.
Elsewhere, a patient dies after being administered a dose of the clinical trial drug. Ruth wonders if the drug is at fault but Howard Fairfax suggests that Jay could have administered the wrong dose - which he hotly denies. But when the patient's notes mysteriously go missing it looks like it's one man's word against another.

Joseph and Daisha find themselves in a shooting incident, and Joseph seems to hit self-destruct. Daisha helps Joseph do the right thing, but is then fatally wounded. Will Daisha survive this? The team struggle to deal with two major incidents. But when Michael discovers Vanessa blames him for the chaos, he is forced to make a decision - Vanessa must remove Toby Geddes, or they will lose Elliot and Jac. Ollie struggles to cope as Daisha's life hangs in the balance.

'Angel' : Yuki's jealousy forces him to take romantic action with May. Jordan, meanwhile, receives a tempting offer from the board and Kieron finally reveals his business with Jordan.
With Adam still behaving erratically, Henry approaches Jordan to see if he'd be interested in taking over as clinical lead. Concerned about the effect on Adam's confidence, Jordan is reticent but agrees to a meeting nonetheless. With Zoe covering the F2 bursary interviews, Jordan is set to attend the meeting - until Kieron secretly dismisses his taxi, offering to transport Jordan on his motorbike instead.
Driving an increasingly furious Jordan to a remote spot, Kieron is determined to get something off his chest - is this his opportunity to reveal just what his business is with the older doctor?
As May continues to flirt with Kieron, Yuki is in turmoil, especially when Lenny tells him that it's only a matter of time before something happens between them and that Yuki should make a move first. Spurred on by his mentor, Zoe, Yuki slips a love note in May's locker but gets more than he bargained for when he finds the F2 exam paper hidden in her bag.
Meanwhile, Howard Fairfax and Ruth are concerned when it looks like a patient's health may have deteriorated due to their clinical trial drug and, for once, Zoe rejects Jordan when he offers to spend time with her after a shift.

After a massive fight between Faye and Joseph, Joseph storms out of Holby and leaves Faye to be comforted by Linden.
News reaches Holby that there is a hostage situation in the city and that victims will be brought into AAU. As Linden and Faye battle to save the victims, Linden can see Faye is upset and comforts her. The two kiss but when Faye finds Joseph's tie on one of the victims she thinks the worst.
The doors of AAU fly open; it's Joseph. He is fine but Daisha has been shot.
Elliot wants to make it work with new consultant Toby Geddes but he finds Geddes so impossible that he explodes at him in theatre. Following the operation, Elliot questions Michael's role of director of surgery and writes his letter of resignation.
Meanwhile, Penny and Oliver are desperately trying to impress Elliot and Linden by helping in the hostage emergency.

'Life Sentence' : A pleasure boat accident brings watery memories back to the surface for Adam; new F2 Keiron pushes his luck with the patients; and Zoe's new admirer gets under Jordan's skin.
Despite his colleagues' concern, Adam volunteers to attend with the paramedics when a pleasure boat sinks on a river and, with memories of Jessica and Harry still fresh, dives into the water looking for casualties.
It's Kieron's first day and he's desperate to impress Jordan. While dealing with a young diabetic patient who refuses anything other than synthetic insulin, Kieron takes a big risk by covertly administering a normal insulin dose to prevent the girl falling into a coma. Jordan is both furious and admiring. Kieron thinks he's finally starting to make a connection with his clinical lead.
Scared of failure, Ruth is hesitant when she is put forward to assist on a new surgical trial but when she impresses her mentor, Howard Fairfax, she decides to pursue her surgical dream once more.
Meanwhile, Jordan overhears Matt's persuasive advances towards a disbelieving Zoe; Alice thinks she's made an emotional breakthrough with Adam when he admits that he is finally going to visit Harry's grave for the first time; and Jeff makes a big announcement to a stunned reception and Dixie.

'Amare' : Thandie and Ric's relationship seems to be back on track this week. Thandie's brother, Moses, arrives - he has Aids and only days to live - and asks Thandie to help him die. She eventually agrees - only to realise that this has hastened the end of her marriage to Ric. She later declines a job offer from Michael and leaves Holby.
Maria, meanwhile, is determined to get closer to George and asks him to lunch with her parents. However, he snubs her and says he's busy. His continuing ribbing of Nicky comes to a head with George admitting he is bisexual. Realising he's not at all serious about their relationship, Maria tells George it's over.
Elsewhere, Joseph tries to build bridges with Faye and asks her to go on holiday, but she turns him down. Realising how hurt he is, Faye tries to make it up to Joseph but, as he tries to kiss her, she pulls away and leaves him to contemplate the future of their relationship.

'Past Lives' : There are two new faces in the Emergency Department this week. Robert Boulter arrives as a handsome young doctor who ruffles May's feathers; and Hotel Babylon's Raymond Coultard plays Dr Matt Strong, who has his heart set on Zoe. Meanwhile, a bereavement counsellor gets more than he bargained for from Adam.
May is distracted when a handsome stranger turns up in Holby on a motorbike but, when she sees him in cubicles later, she is her usual snooty self. When the stranger reveals himself as Dr Kieron Fletcher, a young research doctor who's hoping to apply for the fellowship, May is seriously unimpressed. Kieron turns out to be a more than capable colleague, but just what is sparking his unusual interest in Jordan?
Relaxing after work with a glass of wine, Zoe contacts Jordan to bury the hatchet and offer her full support now that he's head of the ED. But a bottle later, Zoe is horrified to realise that she's left a stream of messages about their relationship on Jordan's answer machine. The next day, fending off the attentions of her admirer, Dr Matt Strong, Zoe is determined to erase the machine before Jordan hears her drunken ramblings.
The ED team, especially Alice, are worried about Adam's increasingly erratic behaviour but their concern is only adding to his problems. Reluctantly, Adam attends counselling to talk through his difficulties but, when the counsellor provokes Adam to get a response, the first session doesn't go quite to plan...

'Together Alone' : Michael finds Connie living a seemingly perfect life with a new job at a private hospital in London. However, it becomes clear to him that Connie has sacrificed the respect and camaraderie of Holby for a more cut-throat and money-centred approach. Michael begs her to return to Holby but she refuses. Later, Elliot also tries to convince her but Connie insists that she won't return until Vanessa leaves.
Penny is finding her career all too much and then Scott asks her to start a new life with him in Spain. She jumps at the chance. Oliver interferes telling Scott to back off and Scott realises he can't ask Penny to give up her career. He then leaves and Penny is distraught.
Meanwhile, it's Toby Geddes's first day as Consultant on Darwin. Elliot finds him annoying and is forced to perform a procedure he's not sure about. The patient dies in theatre and Elliot walks out of Holby to travel to London to try to convince Connie to return.

'Downstairs Upstairs' : Elliot is called to attend to Charlie, who has had a heart attack. Nick Jordan saved Charlie's life in the Emergency Department and now Elliot is going to take over his treatment on Darwin, but the two disagree on how to proceed. Elliot is overworked and the pressure of operating on a friend is becoming too much for him. He wants to help Charlie but, in his current condition, could end up being more harmful to him...
Thandie, meanwhile, wants to fool the Home Office into believing that she and Ric are a couple to avoid being investigated for fraudulently marrying, and possibly even deported. Thandie succeeds and Ric is reminded of why he fell for her in the first place. Unable to resist, he kisses her.
Nicky is determined to show Maria that he is boyfriend material but he ends up attracting attention from George...

'Love is a Battlefield' : Zoe and Jordan's volatile relationship explodes; Dixie surprises Jeff with a proposition; and Charlie confronts the scheming Shona.
Lovers Julie and Martin kiss passionately, unaware they're being photographed by private investigator Norman. On catching sight of him, Julie gives chase and Norman is injured as she snatches his camera. She is determined to persuade Norman not to use the pictures, but could the private investigator be the one to make her see the error of her ways?
Meanwhile, Dixie's sick father, Arthur, decides to spend some quality time with his daughter, which causes problems for the paramedic as she's never revealed her true sexuality. Determined not to disappoint her father, Dixie has a surprising proposition for sparring partner Jeff.
When Zoe doesn't turn up for a shift, Jordan is furious and gives the medic a piece of his mind. Out for revenge, Zoe fills in a patient comment form and doesn't hold back on her thoughts. Tensions mount when, disgusted by Zoe's attitude, Jordan decides to confront her.
It's an important match day for the ED soccer team and when their star player pulls out, Adam steps into the breach. But it soon becomes clear that Adam's problems off the pitch are affecting his play - to the detriment of the opposing team members.
Charlie is horrified to find that Shona has broken into Louis's house and even more disturbed to discover that she uses drugs. But matters go from bad to worse when, after confronting the drunken girl, Charlie crashes his car...
