Lucy Gaskell to Leave

 

holby.tv can confirm that actress Lucy Gaskell is leaving CASUALTY.

 

Lucy, who will last be onscreen in August, is quitting as she and her partner, former Casualty actor Mark Bonnar, are expecting a baby this month.

 

Lucy joined the show in May 2010 as nurse Kirsty Clements. Her character suffered domestic abuse at the hands of her husband Warren and had a fling with Adam Trueman.

 

Lucy is the first of a number of cast members to be announced to be leaving whilst CASUALTY is set to be moving filming to Cardiff from next month.

    i wish she wasnt leaving. By far the best character on the show, and i love adam and kirsty togther. i was hoping for them to end up together. i know she will not return during se.26 but does anyone know if she will return or appear in any of se.27???

    nooooo!! why do all the best characters leave?!?! I LOVE Kirsty and i LOVE Lucy!!!.. i wrote a letter to her in march as well and she hasn't got back to me yet! :( We will miss you Lucy!!! x
