
Episode Summary
Following her recent assault, Siobhan arrives late for her shift after visiting the Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC), where she undergoes examination and DNA testing. After some reflection, she also decides to report the attack to the police. Siobhan struggles to get through the rest of her shift, Flynn – overwhelmed and under pressure – reacts angrily to her lateness. Siobhan explains what happened, and his attitude quickly shifts.
Faith makes the decision to tell Iain she is pregnant and planning a termination. His initial reaction is distant and unhelpful, but after some time to process, he agrees to attend the scan with her. There, they learn that Faith is further along than expected, and the news changes things. Iain tells her he will support her moving forward.
Dylan and Matty treat a man involved in a fatal road traffic accident. At first, they suspect the crash may have been deliberate, but further investigation reveals the man suffers from a medical condition that causes him to blackout — explaining the circumstances of the accident.
Stevie attends her oncology follow-up and is given the all-clear. However, she is left frustrated and hurt when medical forms continue to ask questions like whether she is pregnant — despite her no longer having a uterus.
Meanwhile, Kim treats a man with a foot injury and becomes concerned about the controlling nature of his partner. After confiding in Stevie, they discover the man harmed himself deliberately and is living in fear. Impressed by Kim’s instincts, Stevie takes her out for a celebratory meal. But later, we see Kim deliberately vomiting in the toilets, and it’s revealed she is using a calorie-tracking app obsessively.
Elsewhere, Dylan prepares to tell Matty that he is his biological father. However, during a conversation, Matty unknowingly changes Dylan’s mind —as Matty says he’s glad he never knew his dad, believing him to be a selfish and unreliable alcoholic, just as his mother described.
