‘Fatal Error (Part Two)’ : In the aftermath of the incident that saw agency nurse Diana receive a shock from a defibrillator, Lofty must decide how to explain what occurred in the Emergency Department’s official statement. Dylan tells him clarify it was an accident, but Lofty must decide whether he himself should carry the burden.
Meanwhile, Cal falls while looking after Emilie, and the pair are admitted to the ED, forcing Ethan to face his birth-mother for the first time. When it becomes clear that Emilie has pneumonia, and doesn’t have long to live, Ethan and Cal must make a life-changing decision together.
