Episode Summary
An injured man is brought into A&E by his guilty neighbours, who caused the accident. One of them, a Surgical Registrar at Holby, had told Josh to drive to a neurological unit, ignoring the patient’s abdominal injuries. The unit was full; when they get back to Holby, Mike is furious at the Registrar’s intervention.
A boy swallows his grandmother’s anti-depression pills, and has his stomach pumped. Kate tries to reconcile the grandmother and her daughter but to little avail.
There is a protest outside the hospital against Holby Healthcare Trust’s investment in an armaments company. Jude is outraged by the scandal. The Surgical Consultant at Holby is a partner in the armaments firm.
Baz finally tells Peter she is leaving him.
