Episode Summary
Armed officers rush to Holby Crown Court where paramedics discover Sunny has been shot. She is brought into Holby ED under guard. Rash answers the red phone and insists on treating her, despite the high stakes. Later in the episode, she is persuaded to provide further incriminating evidence to the police.
At the ambulance quarters, Iain receives a call informing him that his mother has died. Stevie is with him when he hears the news and notices how emotionally closed off he is — especially towards Faith. Their growing distance becomes more apparent.
Elsewhere in the ED, Dylan expresses concern for Flynn and Ngozi works her final shift. She and Nicole treat a patient affected by counterfeit alcohol, and Nicole becomes increasingly aware of the emotional weight Ngozi is carrying.
