CASUALTY actress Cathy Shipton has won Best Drama Star award at this year’s virtual Inside Soap Awards.
She beat tough competition from Derek Thompson and HOLBY CITY stars Rosie Marcel and Alex Walkinshaw, but it was a fitting tribute to the actress who left the show, having played Duffy since the original series 34 years ago.
