Casualty star’s will attend a special gala dinner.
Fans of BBC’s Casualty will have a rare opportunity to meet with the stars and join them in a grand Gala Dinner and Ball on November 1st.
The event, being held to support this year’s BBC Children in Need Appeal, take place in Cardiff’s Holland House Hotel, just a few miles from the programme’s new home in the Roath Lock studios, Cardiff Bay.
Familiar names including Derek Thompson (Charlie Fairhead) and Charles Dale (Big Mac) will host the evening – and even the musical entertainment will feature members of the cast and crew of the long running show.
“Derek and I will also be hosting an auction which will include unique Casualty memorabilia and props unavailable anywhere else” said Charles Dale. “We’re delighted be celebrating our successful move to Cardiff, and thrilled to be doing so in support of such a great charity” he added.
Fans of the show are expected from right across the UK, and organisers hope that it will prove particularly attractive to members of the medical professions.
Tickets, at £90 a head, can be booked by contacting the BBC Children in Need Office in Cardiff on 029 2032 2383, or emailing cin.wales@bbc.co.uk who will supply further details. 50% of the ticket price will go directly to BBC Children in Need.
The 2012 BBC Children in Need Appeal culminates on November 16th. During 2012 it has distributed over £46 million throughout the UK (£3 million in Wales) to community groups and projects supporting disadvantaged children and young people.
