Nikki is resolute that she wants nothing to do with Roxy and prepares to move out of the flat. Nikki’s determination becomes redundant when Roxy goes into early labour. Roxy has been overdoing it at work and all grievances are forgotten when Nikki has to deliver Roxy’s baby in the back of her car. Roxy battles not to get attached to the baby boy but worries when he is not breathing properly.
Meanwhile, Lara and Simon are finding it increasingly hard to hide their feelings. Lara is concerned when she sees her photo has been defaced and her car badly keyed. Back at Simon’s flat, Tally disturbs a passionate moment between them by hurling a brick through the window. When they confront her, she unleashes a tirade of abuse and leaves in tears, devastated by Lara’s betrayal.
Elsewhere, Comfort is certain that leaving is the right thing to do but she does not want anyone to know. Her faith in herself and God is restored and she tells Fin she is going to attend AA. Fin is wary, having heard it all before, but he offers to drop her off to show support. Comfort knows what is at stake and takes the first steps towards changing her life.
Norman Pace guest stars as Harold, whose Down’s Syndrome daughter, Katie, is pregnant. He faces serious repercussions after hitting her boyfriend.
