S12 E18 (3 Jan 98) : An Eye for an Eye by Tony Lindsay
After a power failure, the A&E is plunged into semi-darkness. Exasperated with Elliot’s lack of leadership, Charlie takes over and does a superb job orchestrating the closure of the department.
George and Mark’s relationship is going well until she snaps at him. But she melts when she sees Mark playing with her son Tom.
Baz is absent from the shift because she and Charlie have split up. When Eve realises this, she suggests that Charlie should draw on the support of his colleagues. He is surprised at her kindness. Sam goes to stay with a reluctant Sunny, as he has to leave the flat he shared with his boyfriend.
A man enters A&E convinced he sustained burns when he made contact with an alien spaceship. Sam and Sunny are happy to dismiss him as a nutter, until, that is, the lights go out and his eyes glow a luminous green.
