S10 E6 (21 Oct 95) : Compensation by Joanne Maguire
Episode Summary
A boy with cerebral palsy is brought in by his father, while his mother attends a hearing – she is suing the hospital where the child was born for negligence. The case is not upheld and she rushes to hospital; the parents are counselled on the best way to care for their son.
The mother’s tense barrister is pregnant; annoyed when her boyfriend asks her to cut down her workload, she drives off and knocks down a woman on a zebra crossing. In hospital, the couple sort out their priorities.
Rachel has a public argument with Mike, and later Charlie confides in her his own feelings about Baz. Even Ash and Laura are unsure of their feelings for eachother.
