Former CASUALTY actress Martina Laird is due to appear in the new series of ‘Shameless’

Martina, who played paramedic Comfort for five years in CASUALTY will play the role of brother owner Michelle. Her feisty character upsets the women of the Chatsworth estate when their men start working as gigolos.

It’s Martina’s first notable television role since leaving the medical drama, having concentrated mainly on theatre work since CASUALTY.
