holby.tv have announced the results of this year’s annual awards, currently in it’s 7th year. The awards to determine viewers’ CASUALTY and HOLBY favourites.
In CASUALTY, characters Ruth Winters and Jay Faldren featured heavily scooping categories including Favourite Female and Male Characters of Series 24 as well as picking up Best Pairing.
New arrival Kirsty Clements also proved popular picking up Favourite All-Time Nurse and Favourite Newcomer of the Series.
Fans also paid tribute to recently deceased Simon MacCorkindale, as his character was deservedly chosen as Favourite All-Time Male Character and Favourite All-Time Consultant.
Whilst in Holby City, Jac Naylor’s popularity has increased. In categories that have been mainly dominated by Connie Beauchamp in past years, Jac was voted Favourite Female of Series 12, Favourite All-Time Female Doctor and Best Acting Performance of Series 12 for her portrayal of Jac and her mothers’ transplant.
Connie remained as Favourite All-Time Female and Best Ever Acting Performance, also picking up Favourite All-Time Consultant.
