Jac gets a diagnosis for her condition and manages to struggle on through the day, trying once more to achieve the funding for the Japanese technique from Mr Hanssen. But just when it looks like her professional life is back on track, her personal life falters as she and Jonny reach breaking point.
Malick returns to hospital on the day of Anna’s funeral, sure he has seen the last of Jake – only for his son to turn up injured after becoming involved in a fight – and Chrissie gets her breast cancer results, leaving Sacha upset she did not confide in him.
