Professor Lockford is readmitted after falling through a glass pane, and Ethan questions whether she has an underlying illness when she begins to forget what she has said and where she is. Ethan later tells her that he suspects she has early onset dementia.
A young girl accidentally impales her estranged father in the chest with a high heel when he arrives unexpectedly at the strip club where she works. Lily struggles to connect with the girl when her strained relationship with her father causes her rudeness to get the better of her, although Lily soon realises that the past is best left in the past.
Alicia falsely tells Lily that her party is fancy dress, humiliating her when she later arrives at the party in a fancy dress costume. Later on at the party and just as Ethan arrives, Cal kisses Alicia, unaware Ethan is watching. Ethan leaves the pub, shocked by his brother’s actions.
