Former HOLBY CITY actress Sharon D Clarke is to appear in Ghost The Musical when it makes it’s debut to the West End next year.
Sharon will play the role of Oda Mae Brown at the Picadilly Theatre in London from 22nd June 2011. Her part was originally played by Whoopi Goldberg in the film version.
Based on the film, Ghost is about Sam, who is trapped as a ghost between this world and the next trying to communicate with girlfriend Molly through a phoney psychic, in the hope of saving her from his murderer.
Since leaving her role as Lola Griffin in HOLBY back in October 2008, Sharon has also appeared in Hairspray The Musical.
