Steven O’Donnell

Plays Frankie Drummer

DATE OF BIRTH : 19th May 1963

PREVIOUS JOBS : Spent five years as a Scientific Officer in a Junior Medical Lab at Charing Cross Hospital. But he hated it and while joking in a canteen one day, a secretary told him ‘You ought to leave’, and he said ‘Right I will’ and handed in his notice that week. His parents thought he was mad to give up his steady job.

LIKE FRANKIE? : ‘I’m not like Frankie at all – he calls a spade a spade and is very blunt. I like to see both sides of an argument and I don’t want to be the jolly fat man in a piece. Really I’m a moody fat man – all comics are.’

ON BEING LARGE : ‘I’m more enormous than roly-poly.. it’s an asset. I don’t know what a diet is and I don’t want to find out.’
