Suzanne Packer to Leave


Long serving cast member Suzanne Packer leaves CASUALTY this series after 12 years on the show.

Suzanne, who has played nurse Tess Bateman since joining the show in 2003, has had many big storylines over the years including being trapped in a building collapse after befriending an asylum seeker, an affair with Fletch, assisting Charlie with Megan’s suicide and dealing with her bi-polar son Sam.

Her exit storyline sees Luke Bailey, who played her son Sam between 2004-07, make a guest return to the show, revealing she is now a grandmother and needs her help.
