holby.tv can exclusively reveal that actor Will Sharpe, who plays doctor Yuki Reid is leaving CASUALTY. His last episode is due to be screened on 18th December.
Will has been on the show for just a year, having joined the show at the beginning of Series 24, however his early departure will come as a disappointment to fans who enjoyed his quirky character.
During his time on CASUALTY, we’ve seen Yuki smitten by his colleague May, until she frames him for the death of a patient. This resulting in Yuki going missing and sleeping rough. We also learnt the death of his brother from cancer led to him becoming a doctor during a flashback episode.
His last storyline involves Lenny and his sister Helen, who is in need of a donor match.

OMG! He’s like the reason I’m watching. Can he like stay longer because I’m new to Casualty and I started Series 24 just this Sunday. I just love Yuki. And as I said he’s the reason I’m watching so I might stop when he leaves. 🙁

I am absolutely gutted! Yuki and Will were one of the few reasons I first started watching Casualty and kept watching the show. 🙁

Oh no not Yuki, he’s the reason I watch Casualty! I’ve missed him over the last couple of weeks, sorry but if he goes I don’t think I’ll be watching anymore. Casualty is going to be dim without Yuki. Pity he really was the only reason I watched this show.
