Former CASUALTY actor Ian Kelsey is joining the cast of ITV soap Coronation Street.
Ian, who played popular medic Patrick Spiller in the medical drama, will be playing dodgy businessman Vinny, an old associate of Phelan.
He has already started filming on the show and will be onscreen from August.
Ian joins a number of former CASUALTY stars to appear in Weatherfield. Currently Tristan Gemmill and Ben Price are treading the cobbles.
