Episode Summary
Holby City is in chaos. Porters have called a strike and Holby has ground to a halt. Mark is furious as no one seems to be taking any action. He single-handedly resolves the problem and Cunningham is impressed. He later suggests that Mark should consider applying for the CEO post.
Connie finds out about Ric and Michael’s director of surgery job-share. Feeling dispensable, she muscles in on Joseph’s research project. When Connie discovers Elaine, an old friend, is the perfect case study she hopes to persuade Elaine to be a candidate.
Michael doesn’t want to play second fiddle to Ric, but realises that if he’s got any chance of saving his marriage, he has to park his ego and let Ric in.
