George Rainsford & Richard Winsor
Two new cast members of CASUALTY have been announced today.
Actors George Rainsford and Richard Winsor are to play new doctors, who are also brothers; Ethan Hardy and Caleb Knight.
George, who is to play Ethan, is described as a ‘witty whizz kid’ and is most noted for his role in popular BBC period drama Call the Midwife. He has also made a previous CASUALTY guest appearance last year.
Richard, who is the star of British urban teen movie Street Dance 3D, will play Caleb who has been described as a ‘pure adrenaline junkie’.
The pair will begin filming later this year and will be onscreen early 2014.
CASUALTY Executive Producer Oliver Kent said ‘The arrival of Ethan and Caleb will instantly change the dynamic of the ED.
“Whilst very different characters, one thing they will have in common is an ability to charm, so expect sparks to fly. We can’t wait to start filming and are thrilled to have George and Richard join the team.”
