Tension between Faye and Jac continues and Faye confronts Jac about meddling in her and Joseph’s private life. When Faye receives a phone call, Jac presses redial to hear “Greenlands” on the other end. She visits and finds out about Faye’s son, Archie. Jac confronts Faye but she tells Jac that Joseph knows and he’s fine with it. Jac isn’t convinced.
Meanwhile, Jayne and Linden meet the Holby City board who are sceptical about keeping the Tans at Holby. Jayne asks Connie to help and she tells the board that if they do this operation, they’ll be eligible for more funding. The board agrees the Tans can stay and Jayne is happy until she receives a letter saying that the Tans have been refused asylum.
Also, Donna’s quest for a better position at Holby begins as Elliot starts to take her through some medical theory. Donna looks flummoxed but tries hard to impress Elliot with a new patient. Unfortunately, her old ways reappear and she makes more mistakes than ever.
