‘Holding On’ : Diane’s pregnant sister, Joanna, is still in intensive care, as the medical drama continues.
Owen delivers the baby by emergency Caesarean, but Joanna dies during the operation. Diane is devastated and breaks the news to Joanna’s ex, Simon. He says he cannot cope with a baby – and walks out.
Stuart, who was driving Joanna in his cab at the time of the accident, chats up Donna. But when she discovers that he’s a drug dealer, she goes behind Zubin’s back to order a drug test.
With her divorce finalised, Rosie is granted the family home. But then she arranges for Mubbs’s flat to be valued without telling him first, he is annoyed and decides he needs some space.
